Nguyen Family Session

It was great to meet the Nguyen family. They were one of the families who generously donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society organization and in return received a session from me. I had to make sure the time was well spent since there were two little boys running around and their little brother trying to keep up. Fun was had by all!

Summer Mini-Sessions

We will be holding mini-portrait sessions on Saturday, June 6th at Shoreline Park located in Mountain View. These mini-session will last 20 minutes and ALL PROCEEDS will go to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training to help raise money to benefit research and patient services for those affected by leukemia, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.

Who’s eligible? Anyone… Families! Siblings! Babies! Couples! Mothers & Daughters! Fathers & Sons! Anyone except dogs which unfortunately are not allowed in the park. Sorry!

Mini-sessions will last 20 minutes and include a $25 print credit for only $75. Below are the available times.

Additional Details:

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training

I did it. I signed up for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training to help raise money to benefit research and patient services for those affected by leukemia, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma. I am running in honor of my Uncle Al who I lost in January 2006 to leukemia. I want to help in any way I can and put an end to this terrible disease.

Did you know that leukemia is the number one disease-killer of children under 15 and lymphoma is the leading killer of men and women under 35? Did you know that every five minutes someone in the United States learns that they have leukemia, lymphoma or myeloma? Until I joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training, neither did I.

As the largest endurance training program in the U.S., Team In Training provides its participants with coaching and training expertise in exchange for raising money towards finding a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. As part of Team in Training, I will be competing in a half-marathon on October 18th in San Francisco, California. The race consists of running 13.1 miles.

Giving is Awesome!

It has been a hard year for a lot of people. The financial crisis. Job layoffs. The list is sadly long.

You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography — $1000 worth, to be exact. Whether it’s canvas or albums, or prints for Grandma, it’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a $500 print credit. What better reason to show some love could there possibly be, people?

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does not qualify as sincere financial need.)

* The nominee must reside in the South Bay, Ca. Tell me who you know, what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.
